Join us on the first Wednesday of each month when we meet at 5 PM at Pat's Pizza, 6 Pleasant St., Bar Harbor. On the third Wednesday of the month, we meet at 12 PM at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel, 119 Eden St., Bar Harbor.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2nd, at 5 p.m. at Pat's Pizza in Bar Harbor.
I hope to see many of you tonight at the Mount Desert Nursing Association's Chowdah Fest & Silent Auction at the Neighborhood House in Northeast Harbor. Doors open at 5 p.m., and tickets can be purchased for $12 per person at the door. Fifteen MDI-based restaurants will compete for the People’s Choice Award and Judges’ Choice Award. Participating restaurants include: Aloha MDI, Clark Point Cafe, Cottage St. Ramen, Dog & Pony Tavern, Finback Alehouse, Leary’s, LUNCH, Mother’s Kitchen, Next Level Sports Lounge, Pat’s Pizza, Peekytoe Provisions, Salsa Verde, Silver Service Catering, Tap & Barrel Tavern, and The Docksider Restaurant. Chowder judges this year are Chris Popper of WDEA, Eliza Bishop of Milk & Honey, and Tasha Higgins, former owner of Mother’s Kitchen.
I also wanted to remind everyone about Sue Kropff's Celebration of Life at the Bar Harbor Inn on Saturday, April 5th, from 1-4 p.m. It would be great to see lots of Rotarians there to honor our Past President and all of her contributions to our club and the MDI community.
