We had a great evening last week at Mainely meat! Great turnout and lots of smiles and laughs, thank you all for braving the chill and especially Mainely meat for the fantastic spread!
Just wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone that we will be holding our polio plus fundraiser on October 22nd, here in Bar Harbor. We will be at Pats Pizza from 12 PM-7 PM painting pinkies for a dollar and Pats will also be donating $1 a pizza. Also, we will be at the Thirsty Whale from 12 PM-7 PM where they will be donating 50 cents a draft as well will be painting pinkies for $1. AND, we will also be outside selling shirts and painting pinkies at a table between the First and Bar Harbor Banking Trust! We're painting the town purple! Come on out and have your pinkie painted and say Hello!

It's a sunny Friday afternoon in the quiet suburbs of Atlanta. Beatrice is at home with her 10-year-old daughter, who is practicing the trumpet. Her older daughter, age 12, is at her first school dance. It's a rare moment of relaxation for the family amid their usual activities - church, homework, chores.
