I hope your week is off to a wonderful start! Below is an update on the upcoming schedule of meetings and speakers:

Thank you to Colleen and Lisa for helping to ensure we have a steady flow of engaging and interesting speakers!

This week on Wednesday, April 14^th we will have a luncheon meeting beginning at Noon. Please come visit with friends, while we talk about the future of our meetings. Clubs across our regions our beginning to discuss in person meetings, and I’d very much like to get the pulse of our club members. Do you feel safe coming to a meeting (with precautions)? Do you have a location suggestion? Might you participate in a hybrid (online and in person) event if offered? Please watch your email for Zoom details! If you are unable to attend and have ideas you wish to share, please email me at stefanie@skogcottage.com.

While talking about events, I want to make sure everyone is aware of a unique opportunity. The Rotary International Convention, scheduled for 12-16 June 2021, in Taipei, Taiwan, will be a virtual event. The Virtual Convention will be open to all Rotary members and participants. Event registration will open in mid-April and will include a promotional fee of $49 for 21 days, with an increase afterward to $65. For information, please visit https://convention.rotary.org/en. Due to it being a virtual event this year, there is opportunity for more Rotarians than ever to experience the camaraderie, networking and knowledge sharing of a global conference! I plan to attend and hope to see some others representing our little corner of Maine.
