Hi all!

We had a fantastic Saturday last weekend, starting with club members participating in Friends of Acadia’s annual roadside cleanup and ending the day by celebrating our 50th anniversary as a club at Kebo Valley. Thank you again to the fantastic effort of the 50th planning committee - Annette Higgins, Susy Del Cid-Papadopoli and Aurora Hilton. Great job ladies, and a great time was had by all!

Please join us again this Wednesday at Pork Nation for our monthly evening meeting. If you went to the last meeting we had there, you know what an amazing spread they put on for us!

Lastly, please remember to help participate with the annual Adventure Golf Tournament at Pirates Cove on May 12th. Teams and sponsors are still needed. Teams are composed of four members and are $50 to register. Hole sponsors are $100 and will provide you with a sign and your own hole to sponsor as well as a mention in our thank you ad in the Islander newspaper.

The Story Trail Project Committee will meet at 6 p.m. at Pork Nation on Wednesday, May 2^nd, following our evening meeting at the same location.

Asticou Lunch May 16th

The May 16 lunch meeting is at the Asticou. We need to give them an estimate of attendees on May 9. We will be asking for a show of hands at the May 9 lunch meeting. If club members are not in attendance at that meeting and want to attend on May 16, please let me know. Also, let me know if you plan to bring a guest because we don't want to run short on popovers!
