Attending this morning’s discussion were: Marc Perry, Robert Recholtz, & Mike Gurtler

Despite the small turn out, discussions made their way around the table.

Marc Perry brought up the ongoing discussions regarding the status of whether or not the Breakfast Meeting will be considered a make-up meeting for visiting Rotarians or not, reporting that Dean Read was contacting District, per the Board request, for some direction and get some finality to the issue.

Mike Gurtler brought up ideas of improving the Club donations policy, and felt there were methods by which donations could be made to various organizations with stipulations that monies received be used for Rotary supported initiatives within those organizations.

Robert Recholtz discussed a few more details and ideas relating to the recently proposed Life Preserver Program Event stating that a synopsis of the idea, list of goals, and a budget need to be organized and presented to the Service Committee for consideration of the Board.

The next meeting will be August 19th.   As always, it was a friendly and productive meeting and all club members, guests and visiting Rotarians are encouraged to attend.
