DESCRIPTION:Each year in March\, our district and districts all over the wo
 rld\, hold training sessions for incoming club presidents.  Our district 
 also includes simultaneous training for club secretaries and encourages vi
 ce presidents to attend.  Secretaries are trained separately to give them
  specific knowledge on how to fulfill their post.  PETS is MANDATORY for 
 presidents-elect.  If you cannot attend our district's PETS\, you must at
 tend elsewhere.  Vice presidents are not required to attend\, however mor
 e and more clubs are understanding the benefits of having their club presi
 dent attend PETS twice.  There is so much information to absorb!  We hav
 e heard again and again how helpful it is to go twice.      Each year\
 , the new theme for the year is unveiled in a letter to presidents-elect f
 ormally inviting them to PETS.  In addition\, you will learn the goals of
  your District Governor and the goals of the incoming RI President.
