Past Projects
On October 30, members of OKC Midtown Rotary delivered four trumpets, four clarinets, four flutes, and corresponding supplies to the music class at Capitol Hill High School! The instruments and supplies were made possible with a District Grant from District 5750 and funds from OKC Midtown Rotary . The students and their teacher were so excited and gave the Rotarians an impromptu concert with their new instruments!
Today we dedicated on of our District Grant projects to Heronville Elementary School. So much fun to see the kids loving their new swing set!
Our final grant delivery for the Rotary 2012-13 was completed this morning with delivery of recorders for the 4th grade students at Coolidge Elementary! What a wonderful year of grants!
Our 4th Grant delivery is in the books! Today we delivered new books for their library which has printed materials averaging 35 years in age.
Did we mention that we had FIVE grants approved this year?!? Today we delivered new pottery wheels and equipment to John Marshall High School!
Grant deliveries continue! Today, writing primers for the students of Stand Watie Elementary School.
Our grants deliveries have begun! First up, a new carpet and sets of readers for the 1st graders of Heronville Elementary School!
Midtown Rotarians recently delivered a new art supply cabinet full of more than $700 worth of art supplies to an after school arts program, PEEPS. Throughout the school year, students meet at the Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma County and get to work with various artists from the community on projects of all shapes and sizes.
