Rotary Fellowships amplify Ukrainian relief efforts

In November 2021, a new chapter of the International Fellowships of Flying Rotarians was chartered in Lviv, Ukraine. Within months, war broke out with Russia and the new friendships became critical connections for support and supplies. Rotary’s global network has sent millions of dollars’ worth of relief and medical supplies to help the people of Ukraine. Read how Rotary Fellowships, which bring together members who have a shared interest or hobby, have amplified the impact of these efforts.

Out Scooter Project Featured in July issue of Rotary Down Under
The July edition of Rotary Down under showcases District 9640 and our Scooter Project is featured on page 29.
The Malaria Vaccine Project of which Broadbeach is one of the sponsor clubs is also featured.
Fishy Business
Past members and Presidents of Broadbeach, Brian Pearson & Bill Waller, have just returned from a very successful fishing trip to Townsville.
As a result Brian has caught the bug and has booked to go on a charter trip with Paradise Charters next Friday 5th August from 6am to 1pm. He invites anyone who wishes to join him to book with Paradise (easily found on line). He has been with them before citing a great boat and Skipper.
