Meeting held at The Hub with 30 in attendance.

David O’Dwyer was the Acting Sergeant for the night and introduced Nayer who proposed a Toast to Rotary International Disaster Fund – it was decided that all funds raised from tonight’s meeting be donated to the Disaster Fund.
President Andrew welcomed all to the meeting and thanked the members who assisted in The Hub clean-up earlier in the day, which was topped off with morning tea.
We enjoyed a meal with a difference – Potato Salad, Garden Salad, Garlic Naan Bread, Rice, Butter Chicken, Beef Stroganoff, Steamed Vegies, followed by Cheesecake bites and Ice Cream. All prepared by a former Chef from The Star.
Sarah McTaggart introduced us to Human Bingo which saw everyone up and moving around and talking and laughing with one another as we asked questions from our prepared sheets.
Nayer was successful in being the first in completing a full line on her sheet. This was a bit of fun and a great ice breaker!
We all celebrated Malcolm’s 81st Birthday on 1 March.
Sergeant David introduced the Fines Session with a number of Trivia Questions and members and guests were fined if they were unable to respond to the question.
The Raffle was taken out by Roslyn Tomlinson and Heads and tails by Denise Jordan – well done.
President Andrew reminded us of the District Conference coming up next week in Yamba as well as a Breakfast get together in April to celebrate the Vanuatu Hospital project.
A big thanks was extended to Uwe for assisting with the dismantling and loading of the Hospital Building into containers for shipping to Vanuatu.
A special thanks was also extended to the Caterer.
No meeting next week and we meet again on 14 March at the Mermaid Tavern.
