The A.G.M. was Chaired by Neil Jones and the minutes will be circulated as usual.
The good news is President Andrew decided to run again and was duly elected, Pauline Armstrong will continue as Vice President, Neil Jones was re elected as Treasurer and Harold Busch elected to the role of Secretary. Congratulations to all of them. All other Board positions remain open - If you wish to serve on the board please make contact with President Andrew.
Reporting on the meeting itself, I am not sure whether the hotel forgot we were coming or downstairs did not tell upstairs or our advices did not get through to the correct area. In any case it was a mess with nothing prepared in the dining room and no sign of anything happening until it was brought to their attention. We were eventually seated about 6.40 ish and meals eventually served. It was of course, the inevitable salad,chips and schnitzel..
Eventually President Andrew was able to open the club meeting and his first advice was that we have about 80 people coming to our 50th Anniversary which is a wonderful achievement. It promises to be a great night.
