World Polio Day is approaching in October, and with it, Rotary clubs around the world are planning events to raise awareness and funds for Rotary’s top priority. Recent polio detections in the U.S. and Europe have made it clear that as long as polio exists anywhere, it is a threat everywhere. In Australia, Tasmanian Rotary members Phil and Joyce Ogden set out to do their part by cycling across the Nullarbor Plains in Australia, supporting End Polio Now through a Raise for Rotary campaign.
