Vice President Pauline has advised members of President Andrew's indisposition.
Andrew has messaged me as follows:
"Sorry I haven't sent a President's report for the Rotarlight. I have shingles on my head and have never experienced pain like this before.
Could you please send out the bulletin with an apology from me. I have asked Pauline to step in for me for a couple of weeks.
Also please extend my condolences and apologies to Edwina & Family on Thursday.
Cheers
Andrew"
Consider it done Andrew and on behalf of all members and friends I extend very best wishes for a rapid easing of the pain and a speedy recovery.

FROM OUR MEETING 22 AUGUST 2023
Scribe: Neil Jones
Thirteen members and four guests (Pam Hawkins, Christine Jones and her sister Wendy and husband Phil Ottrey from WA) were welcomed by Sergeant Bruce and President Andrew. It was disappointing that there were a number of late withdrawals/apologies resulting in insufficient dinner fees to meet our catering commitment, Drink profits however came to the rescue and we still achieved a healthy profit on the night.
Those in attendance enjoyed another excellent meal served by Chef Koumar.
Barbara Burnheim proposed the toast to Rotarians and our wonderful work.
Neil Baldwin outlined details of a project re-cycling used tablet foils and members were requested to start saving these and bring them along to future meetings, A collection box will be provided at the Hub.
Bruce conducted a warm hearted Sergeant's session relying on members to fine themselves for recent good or bad experiences,
Jim Hawkins won the raffle and Peter Tomlinson won Heads and Tails.
The meeting closed early at 7.45 pm ahead of the scheduled Board Meeting,
