Tuesday night was a fun night at the hub and thank you to Grahame for the interesting and entertaining sergeant session. The hub nights are usually fun events and we get quite a number of partners along to share. We also thank the regular volunteers who come along in the morning to tidy and freshen up the building and surrounds as well as those who take home the tablecloths and tea towels to wash.

Don’t forget about the movie night on 23^rd February. The movie is The Duke at Robina. If you would like tickets please contact Neil Baldwin who may be able to source tickets.

Next week is our usual no meeting on the first Tuesday and the following week (8^th) is at the Hotel. Given the uncertainty surrounding Covid at present, we will need numbers confirmed for 8^th reasonably early to avoid paying the hotel for minimum numbers.

Bill Waller will still be absent for some weeks, cut his hand and is being operated on next Friday. His foot issues is continuing in the left foot.

FROM OUR MEETING 25 JANUARY 2022

A nice balmy night for our first Hub function in 2022 and ironically we had 22 in attendance.

Lots of fellowship and catching up prior to Sergeant Grahame calling everyone to order and introducing President Peter.

Peter welcomed everyone and especially the partners before handing back to Grahame for an early Sergeant's session with some serious questions. President Peter appeared to have had access to the questions as he was the only one able to answer them all correctly.

Caterer Chris called an end to the session by announcing dinner was to be served - a nice piece of beef and plenty of vegetables followed by apple pie and ice cream was served to all.

Tea and coffee was offered but someone had forgotten to bring the milk.

After dinner Grahame resumed his Sergeant's Session with some further interesting trivia ending with a couple of jokes.

David O'Dwyer won the raffle and Desley Daviess won Heads and Tails.

A very relaxed and enjoyable evening.
