Gave some background of his working life including working as a camera man for ABC and property management for Harry Triguboff including Sundale redevelopment.
Peter spoke about the rapid advances in technology.
These included air taxis, drones delivering shopping goods and flying cars. He showed 10 different prototypes that have already been developed and apart from one the prices for these flying cars were $300,000 to $3.5 million each so they are unlikely to become commonplace.
Driverless cars are becoming a reality though and as 5G becomes widely available the technology is becoming safer.
The driverless public transport bus for Main Beach was discussed and although it worked there was little take-up at this stage due to consumer hesitation.
Graphene batteries promise a much faster and safer charge rate in battery development.
The first widely available artificial intelligence ChatGPT was also raised with profound implications for many existing professions likely to become extinct.
Interesting stuff and developing at a rate far ahead of legal and regulatory frameworks.
