THE DUXBURY ROTARY SUPPORTS INTERFAITH COUNCIL CAMPERSHIP PROGRAM

May 22, 2014

The President and Vice President of the Duxbury Interfaith Council, Sheila Tenaglia and Rev. David Troxler, visited the Duxbury Rotary Club this week to provide details of the 2014 Interfaith Council’s Campership Program.

While the popular view is that Duxbury is a wealthy town, the facts are that some of our families do fall on hard times. This worthy program has provided some financial assistance to send as many as 90 Duxbury school age children in need to a camp each summer.

As a result of the visit, The Duxbury Rotary Club provided funds for a Duxbury child to attend camp this summer.
