Michelle Conway spoke about the Casino Night.  Oct. 8 there will be a press release on the event.  Bill Driver will be playing acoustic guitar for entertainment during the cocktail hour and a Duxbury high school student Will Flederman, a contortionist, will be doing magic tricks.  The list of table sponsors is growing.  Event Brite will be listing the event.

SCHEDULE: October 7, a morning meeting.

Oct. 11, a Saturday, a “Route 14” (secret road) roadside cleanup at 8:30 AM.

Oct. 19, Razia will be speaking at the Senior Center 3:00-5:00 PM.

Nov. 7, the Providence Bruins Rotary Night, $15.00 per person with $5.00 going to Polio Plus.

Nov. 8, the Plymouth Sunrise Club Trivia Night.

Nov. 13, Paul Harris Foundation Dinner, 5:30 PM social hour, 7:00 PM dinner, $45.00 per person.

Nov. 15, Casino Night.

MEMBERS: Jack O’Neil is having some health problems and Fred suggests giving him a call to see how he is doing.

Cheryl has just returned from a trip to Indonesia.

GUEST: President Fred had Mary Canty as his guest.  She is a member of Fred’s bicycling group.  She is interested in triathlons and is a swimmer.

CORRESPONDENCE: Fred has asked Past District Governor Dietrich to give more information about EDX, a long distance learning tool that uses the internet and could possibly be used by Razia’s students.

The District would like nominations for the position of District Governor.

FINES/RAFFLE: Razia’s son Lars is giving two theatrical performances, one in New York and one in Toronto with his group Abacus which involves a large fish tank with people living in it.  Michelle Shea is welcoming the return of her husband from Ireland and Michelle Conway will be enjoying Key West with her husband.

Fred won $1.00 in the raffle.
