Lindsay Conway, Michelle’s daughter, spoke about her Duxbury Rotary sponsored weekend at the RYLA, (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) event teaching leadership skills.  She was accompanied by her mother and by Jules, a young Frenchman.  The participants were shown how to push beyond goals and boundaries, working on communication skills, community building and problem solving by physical activities such as tackling a rope course and rock climbing.  They ended the weekend by wrapping 3,000 “wrappies”, to help provide drinkable water in Africa.  Her next project will be traveling to Indonesia for 10-11 weeks at the end of August.
