DUXBURY ROTARY CLUB

BRIDGE March 1, 2017, for the meeting of March 15

“Attendance” (secret word) at meetings is important.  It is a problem if there are not enough members to make it worthwhile for Chef Peter to prepare meals.

Trivia Night was a success.  The only difficulty was the lack of parking exacerbated by  the remaining snow piles.  Both South Shore Habitat and Plymouth Habitat will each be receiving $1,000.00 for veterans housing.

The Nashoba Valley Rotary Club has asked that Duxbury Rotary join with them to support Razia’s Institute in Afghanistan.  Because we have already committed funds this year for the school, it was decided not to contribute additional funds.

Classification talks will be scheduled for new members to speak about themselves, their businesses and why they joined Rotary
