Michelle Conway gave us a rundown about plans for the Casino Night fundraiser to be held Saturday night November 15.  Contributions raised will be for the Good Neighbor Fund.  150 – 200 guests are expected but can be expanded to 1,000.  Costs per person will be $45.00 which include a drink, horsdoevres  and some starter chips.  She has been busy contacting Alpine Amusements, the company that has the equipment, the Duxplex, the location of the event and various town licensing agencies for the necessary permits.  There will be twelve “sponsor” (secret word) tables that are available for businesses at a cost of $300.00 per table.  Think about sponsors to invite.  It is a way to promote their business and a chance to be a dealer.  There will be a dealer training session from 6 - 7 PM before the event.  7 – 8 PM will be a cocktail hour and the gaming will run from 8 – 11 PM.  Help is needed for the gaming, prizes, decor, set-up/ take down, publicity and getting food donors.

Fred has set up an Action Steps chart listing important club events, the members who are responsible and when the job has been completed.

Michelle Shea warned everyone about scam robo calls asking for personal information under various guises.

Sunday Aug. 17, from 4 – 7 PM, Michelle Conway invited members to an open house at her home in honor of her daughter Lindsey who will be going to Indonesia.
