freedom, justice, honour, duty, mercy, hope”

Hi all,
With over 2350 new COVID-19 cases in Victoria since Wednesday the need for vigilance has never been higher.
Now is not the time to pick fights or for political point scoring. It is a time where we stop to help those that need help.
With the state of disaster declared, the 5 kilometre radius rules together with the curfew between 8.00 pm and 5.00 am it will be difficult to support the projects in our community that we have . However we should open ourselves to the opportunity to serve in areas that may not yet be apparent.
As always if there is an identified need , we should talk about it and act . For, if we don’t talk about it we will never know if or how we might have made a difference.
From Russell : raffle books returned ASAP and please pay your fees, also if anyone wants to be a part of the weekly club raffle please contact Janette or Russell.
Don’t forget your Snap Shots to be submitted to Bob Davis.
From me : stay safe and I look forward to seeing you Wednesday evening.

Please email your response according to whether you agree, disagree or wish to abstain from voting to
For the last two zoom meetings we have held our normal club raffle and last week we conducted a fine session.
To make it easier to run these and keep track of members who are participating, a suggestion has been made, to offer all club members an opportunity to participate regardless of whether you are able to attend a zoom meeting .
Raffle tickets are 1 for $5.00
Fine participation is $2.00,
totalling$7.00 a week.
As we are not paying for meals during the restrictions this is a good way of contributing to the club. A record of the tickets will be kept .
You do not have to be at the zoom meeting to win the raffle.
If you would like to participate on a weekly basis, let Janette Etherington or Russell Warmington know. We will keep track of the amount and you will be able to pay the amount at the end of each month. A reminder email will be sent to you.
