As we celebrate National Volunteer Week, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to each of you. Thank you for the time and effort you invest in our Club and our volunteering initiatives. Many of the jobs you do often go unnoticed, but I want you to know that I see the hard work and dedication you bring to our Club, and I am truly grateful.
Whether you contribute 5 minutes or 100 hours, it all makes a difference. We are members of Rotary for various reasons, but at our core, we share a common goal: to make a positive impact in the lives of others. It takes a team to achieve the meaningful changes we strive for, and your commitment is what drives our success. Your contributions create significant differences in the lives of others, and it doesn't go unnoticed. Together, we are fostering a spirit of service that inspires not only our members but also the entire community.
Thank you for your hard work, passion, and the countless hours you dedicate to our projects and to our Club. I am proud to be part of such a compassionate and driven group. Let’s continue to make a difference, one act of service at a time!
Although we had no meeting last Tuesday, we had a fabulous social outing on Wednesday night! We enjoyed dinner at The Royal Hotel in Upper Ferntree Gully, followed by a very entertaining production at the 1812 Theatre—The Housekeeper. It was a well-executed and humorous play that certainly kept the audience thoroughly entertained.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for a wonderful evening, and special appreciation to the Social Working Group for organising such a fantastic event.
Our next meeting will be a Club Assembly. This is always an informative evening where we receive updates from all our Chairs on the important work being done within our Club. I hope to see you all there!
Take care,
Monique
