WEEKLY BULLETIN VOLUME 10 ISSUE 38 15th April 2025
Monique's Message
I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the truly inspirational presentation we experienced at our last meeting. Listening to Phil, Marc, and Bonnie share their heartfelt stories about the Postie Bike Ride and the BridgeBuilders Youth Charity, resonated deeply with me, and I believe it touched many of you as well. I found myself quite emotional when trying to express my gratitude for the incredible work they do.
The difference they make in the lives of young people in our community is nothing short of amazing. Hearing Bonnie and Beck talk about how Bridgebuilders has shaped their lives was especially moving. Their journey and the way they expressed their appreciation for Rotary's support in their RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) experience truly highlighted the power of this program and the opportunities it provides.
If you have a chance, I encourage you to support Bridgebuilders by visiting the CriBB Café & Bar 222 Main St, Lilydale. It’s a small way we can contribute to something much bigger. 100% of the profits from the Café support the BridgeBuilders charity.
I’m also looking forward to our next meeting, where I’ll have the pleasure of hosting the DG Group Visit. It’s going to be an informative evening where we can connect with fellow Clubs in our Community Group, share our experiences, and brainstorm new ideas. I genuinely believe that when we come together, we can create an even greater impact in our community.
As Rotary members, we all share a common purpose: to make a positive difference in the world around us. Let’s embrace this opportunity to collaborate and support one another. Together, we can achieve remarkable things!
Take care,
Monique
