WEEKLY BULLETIN    VOLUME 10   ISSUE 36  1st April 2025

Monique's Message

Dear Members,
By the time you read this, we will have attended the Inaugural District 9815 Conference in Bendigo, and I can't wait to share all the insights and experiences with you at our meeting on Tuesday night! Those of us who attended have plenty of exciting stories and valuable information to share, so be prepared for an entertaining presentation.
Reflecting on our last Working Groups meeting, I was thrilled to hear about the tremendous effort each team is putting in. Our Public Image team is doing fantastic work promoting our Club through the website and social media. The Fundraising team has some fun upcoming events planned to help raise money, while the Social Group is busy organising some enjoyable activities and coming up with ideas for our Changeover celebration, which will be held on Sunday 29th June.  We will have the pleasure of the Company of DG Colin Byron, DGE Peter Behm and DGN Emma Clarke.
The Community Service Working Group highlighted the success of the Youth Skills Shed and praised the contributions of our tradies. Meanwhile, the International Working Group is working on some promising projects, including a potential eye care initiative and sending school furniture to PNG.
Although the Welfare/Membership team had only one representative, they actively participated with the Youth Working Group, engaging in discussions about initiatives like Boronia K-12 funding, RYLA, Interact, and Knox Rocks.
It truly amazes me how much work we accomplish together. Our collective thoughts and actions strengthen our Rotary Club and make a real difference in our community.
I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday night and sharing more about our experiences!
Take care,

Monique
