8th July 2009 DG Visit to our club

District Governor will be starting his club visits from Tanzania and will be in Dar es Salaam from Monday 6th July until lunch time Friday 10th July. He will be visiting our club on 8th July 2009. The board meeting with the DG will be between 10 - 12pm venue to be annouced soon

 

 

During the DG's visit to each club, following are the expectations: ( list below sent by the Asst. Governor Rtn. Harish Bhatt)

 

1.        Meet with the Board and review club report which consists of details such as Club Plan, summary of activities, minutes of meetings, attendance details and project details (please refer to previous reports). The reporting period is from last report until now.

 

2.        The DG will discuss the Club Plan and will want to see how the club intends to achieve its objectives.

 

3.        The DG will also use the opportunity to articulate on any Rotary issues or provide guidance.

 

4.        The Club can use the opportunity to put forth any questions or concerns that may exist related to club and district operations.

 

5.        After the board meeting, the DG will attend the regular meetings and lunch / dinner as is relevant.

 

6.        Project visits would be welcome and any club that can arrange the same would be excellent.
