Our Mission

The Gilroy Sunrise Rotary Club mission is to support local community and international needs through the Five Avenues of Service: Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service, New Generations Service, and International Service guided by the ethical standards of the Four-Way Test. Our Mission is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. Gilroy Sunrise Rotary focus is on education and hunger here in our local community. Some of local hunger programs we support are St. Joseph’s Family Food and Homeless center, Gilroy Police Dept. Annual School Supply Drive, and Compassion Center for the homeless. In education we support Interact clubs at local high schools, offer scholarships for our local high school seniors, and supporting the Youth Culinary Academy at Rebekah Children’s Services for youths at risk as part of the scholarship program.
