🎤 Speaker: John Yazwinski, CEO of Father Bill's
 
John Yazwinski, CEO of Father Bill's was our speaker. He told us about the future Father Bill’s & MainSpring.
 
They are transforming how our community responds to homelessness through the development of innovative Housing Resource Centers in Quincy and Brockton.
 
The Yawkey Housing Resource Center in Quincy (pictured) is currently under construction and is expected to open in 2023.

President Donna welcomed everyone including our honored guest - The Weymouth Carl Ripken Little Leauge Team!

David Hicks led us in prayer.
 
📢 Announcements:  
  • Bowling Night This Monday: Dave Hicks discussed our next meeting this Monday which will take place at Boston Bowl in Hanover (See Details Below). 
  • Weymouth Rotary Club Annual Golf Classic: Jay Walker updated us on our annual golf tournament (See Details Below). 
  • WRC T-Shirts: Teresa Tanner-Roth updated the club that WRC t-shirts are available. Contact her if you'd like one.
  • Foundation Dinner: Stave Serta updated us on the Foundation Dinner. To learn more or attend contact Steve.
  • Our First Oktoberfest: Ray Jennings gave us an update on our first Oktoberfest (See Details Below).
😊 Happy Bucks:  
Tom Rizzo placed a wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier. Allison White, Dave Hicks, and Gary Rayberg also were happy!

Bowling Night This Monday!

 
 
 
 
No regular meeting, it's bowling night!
 
Bring your spouse, children, grandchildren, a friend (future Rotarian) whomever. 
 
We only have two names on the highly coveted trophy! Will yours be the third? 
 
Location:  Boston Bowl - 48 Rockland Street, Hanover, MA
When:       Monday, September 26th at 5:30 pm (Bowling starts at 6:00)
Price:        $30 per person (Children under 12 are free)
