Just a week after Oktoberfest Munich is once again a travel destination for many Europeans. Around 80 people from 18 Rotary Clubs in 5 countries with over 25 nationalities came together in the Bavarian capital over the weekend.

The reason for the trip to Munich was the first meeting of Englisch speaking European Rotary Clubs. It was organized by the international Rotary Clubs Berlin, Munich, Salzburg and Vienna.

The aim of the event was to network the various clubs, to get to know the individual international activities and charity projects, and to exchange experiences in the form of a barcamp. Above all, the event was one thing: a weekend full of fun & hard work with old and new friends.

On Saturday, the participants met at the barcamp to discuss important club topics. Experiences were exchanged in several groups, new ideas were developed and previously unknown topics were discovered. The topics covered included acquisition of new members, club events, global grants, media, the traditional Rotary exchange etc.

We would like to thank all participants who made the journey to Munich. A big thank you goes to the friends from the organizing Clubs and the excellent cooperation as well as our professional facilitators.

Last but not least, we would like to thank smartvillage GmbH, our unique and climate neutral barcamp location, Philipp von Bock for the fantastic city tour to the most beautiful corners of Munich's old town, Wirtshaus am Bavariapark and Wirtshaus Marie Therese for the great culinary experiences.

See you in Vienna in 2025.
