Ethics among Judges/ Federal Judge Dr. Antje Weihs

Now Federal judge Dr. Antje Weihs will give us a presentation about ETHICS AMONG JUDGES

Antje has been with the Federal Finance Court since 2018. Previously, she was a judge at the Finance Court in Nuremberg. At the BFH, she was assigned to the Second Senate, which is primarily responsible for inheritance and gift tax, real estate transfer tax, and uniform valuation.

After studying law, Antje began her professional career as a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law, Commercial and Economic Law, European Law, and Comparative Law at the University of Tübingen, where she also earned her doctorate. She interrupted this work to pursue a master's degree at the University of Oxford, graduating with a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL).
