On Friday, November 22nd 2019, we completed another successful charity art auction thanks to our members and guests who contributed to the spectacular evening (and bidding)!
A special thank you to Sheila Scott, at Karl & Faber, for the fantastic work as our auctioneer and to Rotaract- & Interact Munich International for all their help and hard work before, during and after the Auction!
This amazing engagement from all of you resulted in donations to the three projects: Barefoot Colleges, Rotary scholarships & the Orlandus Lassus Foundation - THANK YOU!!

Over 200 guests and art lovers (including Rotarians from 20 clubs) contributed to the great atmosphere and lively bidding!

Sheila Scott, at Karl & Faber, did an amazing job managing to keep the audience in suspense with her knowledge, speed, charm and eloquence throughout the whole evening and 58 works of art!

But we couldn't have made it without the Rotaract- & Interact Club Munich International who supported us tremendously with so many hard working helpers! Over 20 Rotaracters and 8 Interacters did not only help during the Auction by showing the art and serving refreshments, but they also worked long hours before and after in order to prepare and finish everything. We are so proud and grateful for this true collaboration between our three clubs!
The reason and result of all this? Proud proceeds that will benefit the three projects:
First, our Orlandus Lassus Foundation, which is particularly close to our hearts, supports students at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich through scholarships in their artistic development. Second, the Barefoot Colleges in India is about the basic education of the poorest of the poor. The third project is dedicated to the further development of students through scholarships abroad all over the world.
Christian Felix Benning (below), our Orlandus Lassus Alumni, delivered an outstanding performance and set the mood perfectly!
