HIYOLI TOGAWA, our stipendiate of the Orlandus Lassus Foundation celebrated the final concert of her postgraduate studies of the Masterclass `Viola`.

This was a great pleasure and an honour being invited to a brillant concert at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater, Munich, last Monday, July 13.

The presentation wasn performed in front of quite a few fellow Rotarians and the general public (Hiyoli´s family and fans) and her teacher Prof. Hariolf Schichtig.

Hiyoli presented a stunning program together with her piano-duo partner Ayumi Janke-Huttenloher:

Robert Schumann       Adagio and Allegro As-Dur op.70
George Enescu            Concertpiece for Viola and Piano
Joseph Joachim           Hebrew Melodies op 9
Johannes Brahms        Sonate f-Moll op. 120 Nr. 1

During the performance Hiyoli could show her extraordinary intimate and vibrant
play with her precious instrument, her Testore viola. Her divers and colorful
accents interaction with her partner did proof

We are indeed happy that Hiyoli is stipendiate of our Orlandus Lassus Foundation during the term from October 2013 to October 2015. Now she is striving for a career as soloist or with chamber music. Hiyoli is already on the way to
Festivals in Sweden and France and she is invited for Schleswig Holstein Musikfestival and to the Festival in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (see more: www.hiyoli-togawa.com/kalender).

We wish HIYOLI all the best!
