President Eilfort's motto: Rotary to foster the future
Another great Oldtimer and Classic Car Rallye raised over €6,000 for Rotary4Hauner and was a huge success for 50 cars and over 100 participants.

For the sixth year running a team behind past presidents Claas Kohl and Michael Vogel organised a spectacular event. The 100 drivers and passengers of 50 cars, mostly older than 30 years old (the cars not the drivers) were given a wad of instructions and had the pleasure to make their way through fantastic scenery, mountain views and delightful villages in eastern Bavaria. No-one knew the exact route so the instructions had to be carefully read and followed as losing the way cost extra points.

Along the route questions had to be answered and challenges solved. Sometimes asking pedestrians along the route didn't help because they didn't always know the correct answer, often leading participants in the wrong direction. This was however not on purpose to create additional challenges.
Lunch was at the Amerang classic car museum with many German cars and vehicles dating back to the early 1900s. Even though we had many foreign cars participating some nine of those taking part were also displayed in the museum.

After a lovely trip, great weather and many amusing experiences the winners were awarded in a beer garden. All in all a fantastic day!
