On Saturday, October 8th 2016, a brave and cheerful group of Rotarian hikers set off in Lenggries for a charity hike up to the Brauneck Hütte on 1540m. The proceeds of the charity hike of around €450 went to the Orlandus Lassus Stiftung.

After some rain and snow, they warmed up with a hearty meal and a delicious Kaiserschmarrn on the hut at the top. The tile stove warmed the hikers’ backs in turns.

The youngest member of the Group was our Friend Class Kohl’s daughter Charlotte. Even with shorter legs, she managed to beat many others to the top where she enjoyed her well-deserved Spaghetti!

And on the way back down, the sun made an appearance, rounding off a wonderful day.

Many thanks to all who participated!
