We happily invite you to attend our private tour of the "As slow as possibles" exhibition of Sarah Morris at Espace Louis Vuitton. The tour starts at 6:30 PM at the entrance of the espace and will take ca an hour. The tour will be held in English. After the tour, we would like to go enjoy a relaxed dinner together at a restaurant nearby. Details will be announced soon. The tour is for free. Be quick and register since places are limited. Rtn. Astrid Schefer will share her insights on how the EU Green Deal is having an impact on companies who are focusing on transparency throughout Europe.

Ms. Vera Dražić, beneficiary of the „Herwig Paretzke Spezialstipendium für Akkordeon“ of the Orlandus Lassus Foundation 2022/23 will honor us with a presentation and a performance of choice works.

Based upon the club member feedback we have decided to move the date of our Christmas Party up by one week to December 11th. Apologies to those Friends who had already marked and reserved the previous date, December 18th.

The program for this event is currently under development and we will inform you as soon as possible. In any case we are looking forward to the musical performance of the Orlandus Lassus Scholar Cristina Lehaci and her trio as an exciting part of this program. 

Since this is a new invitation for a new event date we ask you kindly to please register (or re-register) for this event so that we can plan accordingly - even if you had sent a previous registration to the last inviation.

The christmas tree hunt also involves enjoying some delicious Glühwein and Christmas snacks in a cozy Christmas market atmoshphere right at the location of the tree hunt.

The head of the local branch of Stolpersteine e.V. , Mr Terry Swartzberg will be giving us a talk about his work to commemorate victims of oppression and discrimination in Munich and around the world

Ms. Corinna Sahl will provide us with an important perspective on education  : „An inside perspective into the education transformation in Europe: How do we implement the OECD Learning Compass 2030 and Future Skills in our schools?“

Rtn. Jochen Schäfer will provide us with a review of the activities and issues leading up to the Summer Olympic Games 2024

The Challenge of preparing young musicians for their professional lives - Prof. Lydia Grün, President of the Munich University of Music and the Performing Arts will speak about the responsibility of preparing young musicians for their professional lives in the best possible way in today’s world – an enormous challenge given the changes in the music industry. To be well equipped for this today requires more than just perfect mastery of an instrument. As a former professor of music mediation, Prof. Lydia Grün is also concerned with fostering an inner attitude in artists that does not lose sight of the world and society.

In this talk by Ms. Olga Sparschuh we will hear about the history of Italian Labour Migrants in Turin and Munich in the 1950s to 1970s.
