Changing corporate Culture

Dr Gabriele Castegnaro, entrepreneur, trained speaker and lawyer, will speak to us about how corporate culture needs to change to adapt to an environment characterised by VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity).

When Dr. Castegnaro joined the fashion house Konen, a family business, in the early 2000s - unplanned and initially against the advice of her parents - after 7 years as a successful lawyer, she became a manager for almost 1000 employees ‘overnight’. She led the renowned Konen fashion stores based in Munich and Luxembourg through several far-reaching change processes in a value-orientated manner. Among other things, she was responsible for transforming the company, which was previously characterised by a distanced, patriarchal way of working, into a modern system characterised by personal responsibility, mindfulness and joy. In 2021, she oversaw the sale of the stores to Breuninger. In other words: She is speaking from experience.
