Andy Short is the Co-Director of Improbable Players. The Improbable Players (IP) is a non-profit educational theater company dedicated to the prevention of substance abuse. IP prides itself on groundbreaking theatrical pieces based on the true stories of people in recovery, and performed by actors in recovery. IP performances have been seen by over a million people from around the world, and have supported hundreds of actors in recovery. Andy Short’s work has been performed at conferences, treatment centers, and community events across the country, and is rooted in the belief that theater is evidence-based intervention for people of all ages.
