Sharing An Insight Into Rotary in Australia – District 9810

Jenny and Roger Coburn look forward to sharing an insight into Rotary in their part of Australia – District 9810, the home District of RI President Ian Riseley, a former GSE Team Leader District 7930, Northeastern Massachusetts and Salem, New Hampshire.

Jenny & Roger have served as RI Presidents Representatives on several occasions and Jenny enjoyed time as the Manager, Club & District Support at the RI Office in Australia which services Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific and Philippines. She has facilitated workshops at International Conventions.

Jenny herself is a Rotary Foundation Group Study Exchange Alumnus, having exchanged to Toronto in 1990.  Joining Rotary in 1991, she has served at club, district, zone and RI levels, serving as DG in 2003/04. A passionate Membership advocate, Jenny currently chairs the District 9810 Membership Committee and has served RI as Regional Membership Coordinator and Family of Rotary Coordinator. In her employment, Jenny is the Executive Officer of the Deafness Foundation and is a member of the Rotary Club of Box Hill Central.

Roger has been in Rotary since 2000 when he was inducted by the then DG – Ian Riseley in the year that Jenny was President.  He has served as Assistant Governor on several occasions and is enthused about the opportunities that Rotary has provided to undertake humanitarian missions to Fiji and he loves the connections of city / rural he has developed in his former club.  Roger has recently transferred to the Rotary Club of Croydon.
