Greetings Rotarians and Friends of Mornington Rotary Club far and wide
On Wed May 28, Pam represented the Club at a Mt.Martha Community Bank breakfast. In attendance were most of the community leaders and local Councillors and MPs. The partnership with Mornington Rotary was widely acknowledged and Pam in particular was recognised for her great work in connecting the Bays and the Bank and securing the van for the MCSC food program. A great promotion of Mornington Rotary"s community work.
The Ranch 2.0 Project
Ranch 2.0 Refurbishment Report
The working bees to refurbish the two vacant units at the Ranch 2.0 are well underway. Last week saw a big painting job in Unit 7 with Rotarians from Mt.Martha, Frankston and Mornington ( Ken and Wendy and John Hall and John Parkinson), and the Mornington Men's Shed. John P eluded the photographer but did introduce Ned Smith from Choices Flooring by Smiths who is going to recarpet this unit this week. Julia has really given the garden a spruce up. A start has been made on unit 2 painting, and it will be completed this week , and unit 3 will be vacant this week and will be tackled next. Dulux/Paint Spot have donated all the paint and materials. It's been a great community project so far. We are still looking for lots of appliances and items that you need to set up a new home. Ross is speaking at Rosebud - Rye Rotary this week to hopefully attract their support with this.
