Welcome New Member Max Morely

Max Morley was inducted into the Denton Rotary Club by Past District Governor Dan Morales on June 28 at the Club’s Award Banquet.

Max attended UNT and received degrees in music. He was a music professor at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas from 1971 to 2010,  recently retired, and is now living in Denton. 

 Max became a Rotarian in the Nacogdoches Rotary Club in 1991 and was elected president for 2006-07.  He was named Nacogdoches Rotarian of the Year in 2007.  He served as the District 5910 Rotary Foundation Annual Fund Chair from 2006 to 2010.  He received the District Four Avenues of Service Award in 2008 and was elected to the District 5910 Roll of Fame in 2009.  Max is a three-time Paul Harris Fellow.  Steve Coburn was Max’s sponsor.
