Tom Jester

We sadly announce the passing of a friend and a great Rotarian Tom Jester. As a husband, father, colleague and mentor, he was greatly respected and will be missed tremendously.
Tom has served the Denton community in a number of leadership roles throughout his lifetime. He was elected to the Denton City Council where he held office from 1972 through 1976, spending the last two years on the council as Mayor of Denton.

He served on several boards as director, including the Denton Chamber of Commerce board and the Denton Country Club board as well as the boards of several local businesses.
As a respected attorney and businessman he also held the office of Denton Municipal Judge, Denton Corporation Judge, and past President of the Denton Bar Association. Tom was a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and previously served as Chair for the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
