Last week Rotarians kicked off the first of the 3 Regional Four Way Test Speech contests!
Thank you to the Decatur Rotary Club for being very graceful hosts for this contest. The students did a great job presenting their speeches. The judges had some very hard work here but approached it very thoughtfully (thanks to Wendy Burgess, Tran Trong, Roger Paschal, Karen Telschow-Johnson, and Murray Surratt).
STUDENT WINNERS (in placement/prize order):
1. Madison O'Neal
Keller Rotary Club/Keller High School, 12th grade
2. Caleb Leonard
Cross Timers Rotary Club/Argyle High School, 11th grade
3. Liz Lackey
Decatur Rotary Club/Decatur High School, 11th grade
4. Ryan Lowe

All were excellent speakers making the judge's jobs even harder! Madison and Caleb will be the contestants representing the Regional 1 Contest for the District Four Way Test Speech contest in Mineral Wells.
Now on to the contests in Weatherford (April 22nd) and Kennedale (April 29th)! Congrats to all the student participants.
