Club members Linda Dodson, Alicia Murphy, and Rebecca Jackson participated in the school year's first Lunch with a Leader (girls) program at Ginnings Elementary.
The Communities in Schools of North Texas Lunch with a Leader mentoring program offers students and mentors a different kind of mentoring experience. Mentors meet for 1 hour monthly with their assigned students. The program provides needed emotional support, encouragement, and connections to local community leaders who act as role models and friends.
