Our Global Grant is Launched!
On July 12, the Denton Rotary Board approved the proposed Global Grant: A Place for Kids with Autism.
The project is in Tres Rios, Costa Rica. Our Host Club is Rotary Club of Cartago (District 4240) and our partner is Camino a la Inclusion, a therapy center for children and families dealing with autism. The grant is for $32,000.
Since it's approval, the project has been submitted and published on www.matchinggrants.org and assigned project # G-3181.
We are reaching out to other Rotary Clubs in District 5790 to present the project at their club meetings, invite them to participate with us and ask them to consider pledging their International District Designated Funds (DDF) to the project.
