Rotarians volunteered at the annual Hearts for Homes Christmas Basket project last month. Hearts for Homes is a local non-profit that provides no-cost home repairs to very low-income senior homeowners in Denton County. They also carry out a Christmas Basket project each December. The project involves assembling baskets with food and household goods and delivering the baskets to seniors. We joined over 50 other volunteers and assembled 148 baskets for 74 seniors. Once the baskets were assembled, some of us delivered baskets to the seniors. Thank you to Paul, Godrej, Vince, Karen, Penny Gee, Elaine, Stephanie, Anil, Bob, Kelley, and Naomi for getting involved and serving the community!
