September 3 – Bobby Brasel and the Mean Green Lady Eagles
Bobby Brasel is entering his first year as associate head coach at the University Of North Texas after serving as assistant coach at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock.  While at Little Rock the Lady Trojans won 75% of their games with wins over LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M, and they never experienced a conference loss at home.
 
Before his successful run at UALR, Brasel was an assistant coach at the University Of South Alabama, where he coached at least one all conference player each year he was there.  During the 7 years he was at South Alabama the Lady Jaguars finished in the top 3 in the Sunbelt Conference in scoring defense including the 2011-12 season where the 52.8 points per game ranked them 11th in the nation.
 
From 1999-2007, Bobby was the head coach at Garden City Community College in Garden City Kansas where he took a program that had won only 38% of its games in the history of the school and directed it to 4 consecutive top 20 rankings in the NJCAA including the school’s first conference championship in either men’s or women’s basketball and Region 6 Championship and a trip to the NJCAA Final Four in 2003.
