JULY 1, 2015 - DISTRICT GOVERNOR TROY SECORD
 
Born in San Antonio, Texas, Troy went to Texas Lutheran College in Sequin. With his father being in the Air Force, Troy’s lived all over the world, but in 1979, he met and married Jeani in Aurora, Colorado.  Soon afterwards, they moved to San Antonio where he worked until they moved to Wichita Falls, Texas in 1980. Troy is the Managing Partner of Secord & Lebow Architects, LLP, and Jeani works with him as the Chief Finance Officer.
 
Troy joined the Wichita Falls (North) Rotary Club in 1997 where he has perfect attendance, he even got Jeani to join the club in 2002. He’s served as president for 3 different terms, Sgt. at Arms, Flag Czar and Foundation Chair. He received the Rotary International Club Builder Award in 2011 and the District’s Rotary Builder award in 2013. He was Assistant Governor for 3 years, Area’s Liaison for the District Future Visions Committee, Area Coordinator for the District Foundation and has served on many other District Committees. He’s also served as District Conference chairman in 2005. Troy has served many times as counselor for RYLA and serves on the RYLA Steering Committee.
 
Both Troy and Jeani have attended many International Conventions. They’ve also traveled to Nicaragua for “Children of the Dump,” twice to Leon, Mexico for the Wheelchair distributions, twice to the Dominican Republic for 2 different projects and Haiti to help with the set‐up for the Vision Clinic.
 
Troy serves on the Zoning & Appeals Committee for the City of Wichita Falls. He’s served as President of Leadership Wichita Falls where he received the “Tom Natale Leadership Award” in 2002, President of the local Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, President of the local Chapter of Construction Specifications Institute and Director for the Texas Society of Architects Board.
 
Both Troy and Jeani are members of the Bequest Society, Charter members of the Paul Harris Fellow Society and Major Donors. They have a son & daughter‐in‐law, Jason and Kelly, a daughter & son‐in‐law, Susan and Phillip, a grandson, William, and granddaughters, Grace and Peyton, which light up their lives.
