College Foster Student “Goody Bags”

In December, our club is making goody bags for the PUSH and Frontier students at UNT and TWU that were previously in foster care.  This is an annual project for our club, and the students really appreciate getting a bag with snacks and necessities.  This year we will be making the bags the week of December 1st.  We will be putting snacks, personal hygiene items, gift cards, etc., in the bags.  We are doing a total of 40 bags. Now is the time to plan for that project.  We are asking our members to purchase snack crackers, microwave popcorn, cookies, candy or other snacks or personal hygiene items such as travel size toothpaste, shampoo, etc.    You may bring the items to the December 1st Club Meeting, or you can drop them off at Rob Seay’s office located at 902 N. Locust, Denton, TX 76201.  We will need 6-8 people for about an hour the afternoon of Dec. 1 to stuff the bags.
