Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

The Mountain View Rotary Club was chartered in 2007.  We currently have about 35 active members in Northern Colorado who are interested in serving our local community and building lasting relationships with other Rotarians. Most of our members are raising families; some are empty nesters.

Each week we meet for lunch and listen to a presentation about an interesting business, a community member's inspiring accomplishment, or the amazing work happening at one of our nonprofit organizations. Our meetings take place from noon to 1 p.m. at Monroe's Lounge inside the Best Western Crossroads Inn & Conference Center at the Highway 34/Interstate 25 interchange.

In addition to our weekly meetings, we gather every few months to donate our time to a local nonprofit. We hold an annual peach sale fundraiser to raise money for youth scholarships and each year we host the Heroes Among Us dinner to honor local men and women who serve as role models and mentors for our youth.  Our largest annual fundraiser, held every spring, is our Retro Rewind 60's/70's theme party. Proceeds from this year's event in April will benefit Reflections for Youth.
