About the Loveland Rotary Club Foundation
The Loveland Rotary Foundation is a foundation set up by members of our Loveland Rotary Club for tax deductible donations to our club. It is managed and run by 9 Club trustees. Currently (August 25, 2026) the trustees are:

- Suzanne Peterson (Co-Treasurer)

All trustees are appointed by the Loveland Rotary Board of Directors with 3 trustees being appointed each year. Each trustee serves a 3-year term and can be re-appointed for 3 terms after which they must be out for 3 years before being appointed again.
The Loveland Rotary Club Foundation's mission is to support
- education
- health and
- the environment
in our local community by volunteering time and donating money.
This is the foundation which supports local students and families through university, technical and trade scholarships, literacy programs, Student and Teacher of the Month Awards, community grants, and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. It also promotes environmental initiatives and maintains the Big Thompson River Trail Signs.

Second Century Visionary Award
This is award is given to the people who have or will cumulatively contribute $1,000 or more to the Loveland Rotary Club (LRC) Foundation since our club's second century began May 1, 2020.
After reaching the $1,000 giving level, Visionaries are asked to contribute $100 or more each year, leading up to the annual party. Donations will be counted for this year (2024) through September 1.
Contributions can be given to Suzanne Peterson or mailed to Loveland Rotary Club Foundation, P.O. Box 304, Loveland, CO 80539. Purchasing a Sponsor Duck for the Duck Race will also qualify you for your $100 donation, as well as Governor's Art Show sponsorships. You may also qualify by recruiting people or businesses outside Loveland Rotary to sponsor the Duck Race or the Governor's Art Show.
