What is F
loats on 4th? \;
For the second year\, Floats on 4th is
returning to the Festival of Lights\, expanding the celebration by two bl
ocks. This stationary parade will feature floats parked along the sides of
the street\, creating a festive\, immersive experience for visitors. The
center of the street will be kept open allowing people to walk through and
enjoy the floats up close. Throughout the evening\, performers like march
ing bands dancers and entertainers will move through the crowd\, bringing
the parade to life.
What is Needed? \; We are hoping to have a stationary with Loveland Rotary'\;s tradem
ark inflatable duck on display.

- Julie Marko has volunteered a duck of smaller
dimentions
- A trailer will be needed (with the measurements of it f
or the application) if we use the BIG duck from the Duck
Race prade. \;
- Lydia Wolfe will create information and materia
l about Rotary to have on hand as well as a sign up sheet for interest.&nb
sp\;
- Battery powered holiday lights or other Christmas decorations
(maybe even a duck sized santa hat) to make the float festive \;
- Volunteers to attend shifts\, answer questions\, and collect interest
for prospective Rotary members \;
- Floats need to be set up by
4:30 PM and the event runs until \;
- Optional: Coffee or hot ch
ocolate to give out at the event.
