Matching Charitable Donations to Estes Valley Non-Profit Organizations

Program Overview

 

Recognizing that the Rotarians of The Rotary Club of Estes Park ("RCEP") support various local non-profits, the Rotary Club of Estes Park, Colorado, U.S.A. Foundation, Inc. ("Foundation") has designated funds for the Matching Charitable Donation program for 2022.  The key provisions of the program are outlined below:

 

  • Eligible local non-profit organizations must be a qualified 501(c)(3) serving Estes Valley residents and in good standing with the Colorado Secretary of State. Please note, donations to a church must be designated for a specific program serving Estes Valley residents. 
  • RCEP club members can apply for a matching donation from October 13, 2022 – November 17, 2022.
  • Applications must include the member's check made payable to their designated non-profit. 
  • The matching donation maximum limit for 2022 is $150 per member. The minimum donation amount is $50. Contributions can be made to more than one organization within the limit.

 

You can bring the application form (provided on the website) and a check to a weekly club meeting and deposit it in the matching charitable donation box or mail it to:

Your check, along with a matching check from the Foundation for up to $150, will be mailed to your charity by early December for your donation to reach the non-profit organization before December 31 for tax deduction purposes.  A letter identifying you as the primary donor and explaining the matching amount from RCEP will be sent with the checks.  You will be notified via e-mail when the checks are mailed to your charity.

 

Please note, in the case of a non-profit organization that does not meet the criteria stated above, we will contact you or the organization. The Rotary Foundation reserves the right to deny a matching donation to an organization not deemed to meet the stated requirements.
